What drives my work, above all, is the human connection. Building personal relationships with clients and helping them navigate life’s financial decisions is not just my profession—it’s a deeply meaningful part of who I am. The trust and continuity I’ve shared with clients over the years are among the most fulfilling aspects of my career. I take particular pride in guiding individuals and families through life’s complexities—whether health challenges, family dynamics, or financial uncertainty—knowing that my experience and perspective can offer solutions, steady guidance and peace of mind.

Although I no longer actively practice law, my background as a tax, estate, and elder law attorney allows me to provide clients with a broader, more integrated perspective. Through our Multidisciplinary Wealth Strategies, I coordinate financial, legal, tax, insurance, and investment components into cohesive plans that simplify decision-making and help avoid costly oversights. I hold a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from Cardozo School of Law and I maintain my law license to stay current with legal developments that may impact our clients’ planning.

My personal experiences have deeply shaped my approach. Supporting my brother-in-law through his terminal illness, including creating his financial and estate plan during an emotionally difficult time, helped me understand planning not just as a service—but as a source of comfort. Later, after my wife’s illness and ultimate passing at a young age, I had to put that same planning into action for my own family. I’m proud that my two sons have emerged from those experiences thriving—emotionally, professionally and financially—and that strong family connections continue to be a foundation of my life.

In addition to my professional career, I’m energized by music, travel, reading and time outdoors. I play guitar, sing, and enjoy long road cycling rides to clear my mind and fuel creativity. I find inspiration in exploring the world and feed my curiosity through books—ranging from fiction and biography to science, history and professional literature.

Publications & Lectures
I’ve had the privilege of contributing to respected professional journals and legal treatises, including Taxation for Lawyers, The CPA Journal, The New York Law Journal and several other authoritative publications.

I also lecture frequently for law schools, bar associations, estate planning councils, CPA societies, universities, and the International Association for Financial Planning. Many of my presentations qualify for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for these professionals and focus on advanced topics and strategies in financial, insurance, estate, and business planning.

Professional Memberships
I’ve served on the Executive Board of the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section and chaired its Insurance Committee. I’ve also been actively involved in the National and New York State Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Financial Services Institute, the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Bar Association of the City of New York, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Conference of CPA Practitioners, and other professional organizations—ensuring I stay at the forefront of legal, tax, estate, insurance and financial developments that affect the people we serve.
